LATAM Airlines has unveiled its first new Embraer E195-E2, marking the beginning of a major fleet expansion that will bring more destinations and improved connectivity across South America.
Built in Brazil by Embraer, the E195-E2 is one of the most efficient regional jets currently in service. The aircraft offers lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and a quieter cabin experience while maintaining passenger comfort with its popular two-by-two seating layout, meaning no middle seats.
The new aircraft will allow LATAM to serve smaller markets more efficiently and increase frequencies on existing routes. This flexibility helps connect travelers to destinations that may not generate enough demand for larger aircraft while supporting regional economic development.
The delivery is part of LATAM’s broader plan to modernize its fleet and strengthen its network throughout South America. The airline has placed a significant order for Embraer aircraft, with additional E195-E2s expected to join the fleet over the coming years.
For travelers, the arrival of the E195-E2 means more route options, greater convenience, and a more sustainable way to explore South America.
As demand for regional travel continues to grow, LATAM’s investment in Embraer’s newest generation aircraft reinforces the airline’s commitment to expanding connectivity while reducing its environmental footprint.
