Azul Linhas Aéreas has announced a new codeshare partnership with American Airlines, strengthening travel connectivity between Brazil and the United States. This agreement allows both airlines to sell seats on each other’s flights, giving travelers access to a broader range of destinations with simplified connections.
According to Azul CEO John Rodgerson, the partnership creates new opportunities for passengers flying between the two countries, combining Azul’s strong presence in Brazil with American’s extensive U.S. network.
The collaboration is expected to improve customer convenience, with benefits such as streamlined itineraries and the potential for integrated loyalty programs. It marks a renewed alliance between the two carriers and reinforces Azul’s strategy of international growth through global partnerships.
