LATAM Brasil: 90% of Passengers Using Automatic Check-In in 2025

LATAM Airlines Brasil announced that 90% of its passengers used automatic check-in in 2025, up from 45% in 2020. More than 31.3 million boarding passes were issued automatically last year — without any action required from travelers.

The jump reflects a broader shift in Brazilian aviation. The pandemic accelerated digital adoption across the industry, and post-Covid travelers have grown accustomed to managing their entire trip from a smartphone. Reaching the 90% mark in a country of Brazil’s scale is a meaningful operational milestone for the region’s largest carrier.

For LATAM Brasil, the challenge now moves from driving adoption to raising the bar on experience — think smarter personalization, better loyalty integration, and more agile handling when flights go irregular.

Automatic check-in is no longer a perk. It’s the new normal.
