LATAM Launches Its Tenth Route Between Brazil and Argentina: Recife–Buenos Aires

LATAM Airlines continues to expand its South American network with the launch of a new direct route connecting Recife, Brazil, to Buenos Aires, Argentina. This marks the tenth active route operated by LATAM between the two countries, reinforcing its strategic commitment to enhancing connectivity across key Latin American markets.

The new Recife–Buenos Aires service is set to operate three times a week using Airbus A320 family aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable and efficient travel experience. LATAM expects the route to be especially popular among leisure travelers, with Recife’s stunning beaches and vibrant cultural scene drawing Argentinians, while Buenos Aires’ European flair and rich gastronomy appeal to Brazilian tourists.

This latest addition to LATAM’s network reflects growing demand for intra-regional travel and signals a post-pandemic resurgence in tourism and business exchanges. The airline already operates flights linking major Brazilian cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, and Porto Alegre to Argentina, and the inclusion of Recife extends that coverage to Brazil’s northeast.

According to LATAM, this route will also support economic ties between the two countries, facilitating not only tourism but also trade and professional travel. By enhancing direct access between these capitals, LATAM solidifies its role as a key enabler of regional integration.

With this launch, LATAM continues to strengthen its position as the leading airline group in Latin America, offering more options for travelers and stimulating regional tourism. Tickets are now available on LATAM’s website and through authorized travel agents. The Recife–Buenos Aires route is expected to become a vital corridor for South American travelers looking for both adventure and business opportunities across borders.
